Crusoe is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our growing Project Execution team. This role will focus specifically on the power generation aspects of our large-scale data center projects, encompassing electrical, communication, controls, and mechanical systems. You will manage the full lifecycle of projects—including engineering execution, construction, completions, commissioning, and turnover—while ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
This position requires fundamental knowledge of power generation technologies and a strong background in construction execution and project management methodologies.
What You'll Be Working On:
Support the Project Execution team in the execution of power generation projects, from design to turnover to Operations.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering firms, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project success.
Review contractor/vendor submittals, RFIs, procedures, and other project documentation.
Support the Project/Construction Manager in monitoring budgets and schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Track construction progress against milestones and monitor change orders.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and quality.
Monitor contractor workmanship and adherence to specifications.
Support commissioning and testing of plant systems to ensure performance and compliance.
Review commissioning documents for technical and practical acceptance.
Evaluate lift plans, flush plans, purge plans, and other construction execution planning documents for safety and compliance.
Coordinate the issuance and response of RFIs and Field Engineering Directives (FEDs).
Contribute to the development of engineering, construction, and commissioning standards and procedures.
Stay current on technologies and best practices in power generation and construction management.
Promote and ensure a safe, collaborative work environment.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
3+ years of experience in power generation, hydrocarbon, or similar engineering, preferably on large-scale projects.
EIT or PE preferred.
Understanding of power generation technologies including turbine, diesel, and natural gas generators, as well as renewable energy sources.
Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
Strong project management skills (budgets, schedules, resources).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
Experience with site supervision and construction management.
Data center power/mechanical systems experience is a plus.
Ability to travel as needed and perform site-based physical requirements (uneven terrain, climbing ladders/scaffolds/stairs, lifting up to 40 lbs, and exposure to varying weather).
Experience with MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling tools.
Certifications such as CPC, PMP, or PMI-CP are recommended for career development in this role.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Participation in Crusoe’s drug and alcohol program is required (safety-sensitive role).

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of $149,000 – $180,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
