We are seeking a versatile Grade 4 Marketing and Design Specialist with 4-6 years of experience to join our growing team in pursuit of our company mission of “accelerating equitable solutions to address the climate crisis.” This new position will help enhance our brand, grow our impact, and delight our clients by creating and implementing strategic marketing initiatives, developing compelling visual and written content, and supporting our ongoing business development efforts. This hands-on position is ideal for a creative, high-performing professional with a strong background in marketing and communications strategy and developing engaging content for outreach. The Marketing and Design Specialist will be a new member of our Marketing and Communications Services Team, reporting to our Marketing and Communications Manager. This position has exposure to all aspects of our fast-paced, high-performing consulting firm; pivoting quickly, managing multiple priorities, providing high touch, responsive and accurate solutions, and collaborating effectively with highly skilled and specialized colleagues. Position Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy: Create and communicate innovative marketing strategies, key brand messages, compelling value propositions, messaging frameworks, and multi-channel communications plans. Work with clients to understand needs and direct strategy for marketing and communications.

Public Outreach and Engagement: Support public outreach and engagement strategies as it relates to broad communications and web platforms. Support public events via tabling and presenting.

Content Creation: Create engaging sustainability related content for a variety of distribution methods including outreach, collateral, social media, and web. Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure content is accurately represented and easily understood.

Graphic Design: Provide routine updates to existing Adobe Creative Suite files and design new outreach materials based on existing content. Lead the design of large reports (using Adobe Creative Suite or similar) using best practices in ADA Accessibility.

Project Management: Support the execution of marketing activities such as newsletters, websites, and social media within Brendle Group and projects. Manage development of company branded (or brand-related) deliverables.

Corporate Branding: Support corporate brand voice and consistency by creating focused, targeted messaging across social media, collateral, presentations, and newsletter platforms.

Presenting and Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards that communicate key research findings and support business development decisions.

Market Research: Utilize various research methods to analyze industry trends, competition, and innovations to support strategic marketing and positioning efforts.

Required Qualifications and Experience: 4-6 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or design roles. Experience in a consulting, environmental, or technical field is a plus. Four-year degree in Marketing. Applicable alternative experiences and education could be considered.

Marketing and Content: Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and multi-channel campaigns. Excellent writing and editing skills for digital and print marketing content (presentations, newsletters, social media).

Design and Visual Communication: Demonstrated experience developing marketing collateral, reports, and presentations. Strong understanding of visual storytelling and branding best practices. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Research and Reporting: Experience in market research using various tools and methods (e.g., surveys, competitor analysis, and trend reports). Ability to prepare and support the development of dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to our internal team. o Exceptional organizational, decision-making, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with and/or enthusiasm for sustainability topics.

- Knowledge of sustainability, environmental communications, or technical subject matter.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English in both written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and programs.
- Experience working in a consulting environment, with a focus on sustainability, engineering, and/or planning.

Position Status: This is a full-time, salaried, exempt, regular position. We are open to a part-time position for the right candidate.
